This Weekend’s Pink Full Moon in Libra
Tonight’s pink full moon in Libra is deceptively pretty, it’s dressed in soft light and sweet illusions, but beneath the glow? There’s pressure. Conflict. Collapse. Libra wants peace, sure, but at what cost? This full moon is forcing us to confront the imbalance in our relationships, the compromises that went too far, the smiling while secretly resenting, the pretending it’s fine when it’s really falling apart. *side eye*
And it’s squaring Mars in Cancer, which is like lighting a match next to a pool of unspoken feelings. Mars here is defensive, sensitive, and reactive. It lashes out when it feels threatened, not with fists, but with guilt trips, withdrawal, or passive aggression. Emotional reactivity is high, and we’re more likely to take things personally, or finally explode over things we’ve been swallowing for months!! (so excited for Mars to move of Cancer).
Then there’s Pluto in Aquarius, also in a square with the Full Moon as of now, digging deep into our need for control, our fears of abandonment, and the hidden power dynamics in our connections. It's a wake-up call for anyone who’s been pretending things are “fine” just to keep the peace. Peace built on silence is not peace.
And now our life raft, this Full moon is also trining Jupiter in Gemini. There’s a chance for insight, for communication that cracks open the truth, for learning something that actually changes how you move forward. But only if you’re willing to stop performing and start being honest, with them, with yourself, with what you actually want. This isn’t a feel-good full moon. It’s a line-in-the-sand moment. Something’s gotta shift, and ready or not, it will.
P.S. With Mars and Pluto both in tense angles with the Moon, tempers can flare fast. Watch for volatile behavior, yours and others (those at Coachella, stay alert this weekend, not a great time to be in a large crowd). Emotional violence counts too. Protect your peace. Walk away if you need to. No apology needed.
